 Re-Opening: 
Wednesday, 10 June 2020
Mentone Public Library 
will return 
to normal operating times
10am-12pm,
Mondays, Wednesday, 
Fridays, Saturdays
from 
Wednesday, 10 June 2020.

We will be observing the following practices 
to ensure the safety of all our valued patrons 
& new visitors to our library home...


Please use the provided hand sanitiser upon entry.

Disposable cups will be provided for hot & cold beverage.

1.5 metres social distancing must be practised at all times.

No more than nine patrons can be admitted 
to the library at a time.

Page Turners 
will be the only 
literary program to resume 
within the library space from: 
10-11.30am, Wednesday, 17 June 2020.

All other literary events associated with 
"An Anniversary Celebration for All Seasons" 
will run either as online events 
or through alternative mediums from
June to end October 2020.

We will confirm by mid-October 2020 
if our 
November & December 
scheduled events can run live in the library space 
or will be delivered via alternative platforms.

Our program
"95 Stories: 95 Reasons to Hope & be Inspired"  
remains an ongoing  offering
& we would love to continue 
to receive your contributions.

On the Air and Laughing:  Meekings a Joy to Behold: Reflective Entry  - 11am, Saturday, 27th May 2017 A bundle of joy personified by the beaming presence of Joy Meekings enriched our library for the launch of our seventh series of " An Author for All Seasons " on Saturday, 27th May 2017. With a smile, a warmth and a humility concealing a life less than ordinary, Joy let it all burst open and run free with poetic antics, radio comedy and a vibrant recount of how she came to be a writer.  But enough from us, let's hear from Joy.....
